PSConfEU Bike Tour 2026

The famous PSConfEU bike tour will take place at 18:00 on Monday (June 1) afternoon, starting in the hotel lobby.

A bunch of bike lovers of all skill levels tend to get together for a friendly Monday ride — something that has naturally become a tradition alongside PSConfEU.

This privately organised event will see us follow the River Rhine to Eltville am Rhein, a beautiful village and tourist hotspot located in the heart of one of Germany’s most renowned wine-growing regions. If the weather permits, we will be able to enjoy some local wine at one of the beautiful open-air wine bars.

The excursion is currently planned to be 30 km long. We will start at the hotel, pick up the bikes at ‘Der Radler’ nearby, and then head south to the River Rhine, which we will follow all the way to Eltville. As this is a privately organised event, you simply need to pay for the bike rental and any drinks you purchase.

Now for the pitfalls: The bike hire company has very few bikes available. They have eight standard bikes (€10) and a range of e-bikes at various price points (around €20). Important: the bike hire company does not provide helmets!
